Quirky is one term that could be used to describe this property, that said, at the same time it is well thought out. Situated just off a pretty plaza in the village of Palma de Gandia, it was completely renovated in the mid 2000s and is still in good habitable condition today, however it would benefit from some fresh paint and a little maintenance here and there. It is important to know that the modernization of the property was pretty much a complete knock down and rebuild, there is even an internal cavity wall meaning that this property does not suffer from damp issues inherent in many village houses (even the reformed ones). During its reform, modern design and building techniques were employed and the best materials were used throughout. We have listed the property with 4 bedrooms although currently it only has 3, this is because it has a large unused room on its upper floor which could be used as a bedroom, second lounge, suite, bedsit, multiuse room etc…

The current distribution is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the master bedroom is en-suite and incorporates one of the bathrooms, it also has a walk in wardrobe. There is also a lounge dining room, well laid out and equipped kitchen and very, very importantly an integral garage. As previously mentioned, on the upper floor of the property there is a large multipurpose room which could be converted to a suite, or small self-contained apartment. From here there is access to 2 good sized solariums / roof terraces with sea views, the upper roof of the house is also flat, walkable and fully tiled, the current owner intended to make this area another solarium in the future.
The property has access from 2 streets, the lower floor is access from one street and this is where the bedrooms are found (its cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter), the upper floor is accessed from another street and this is also where the garage is found. One really needs to see this property to understand its layout.

The property is just off a pretty little plaza complete with traditional artisan bakery where you can get your fresh bread and a myriad of other home-made cakes and pastries. Within a short walk you can find most basic amenities including a small supermarket, bank, bars, doctor’s surgery, small A&E and excellent municipal sports facilities including 2 swimming pools one of which is climatized, tennis, football, padel etc. Palma is just a 5 min drive from Gandia and its blue flag beaches where there is just about everything that you could need, including hypermarkets, shopping centers, high street, many bars and restaurants and even a state of the art 300 bed hospital. Gandia is less than an hour’s drive from Valencia and its airport and just over an hour from Alicante.
