A lovely Spanish character villa in the quaint village of Almiserá
This beautiful four-bedroom villa sits on a nicely elevated position with fantastic views across the orange grove valley, and out towards the distant mountain backdrop.
The 193 square metre property was constructed in 1977. It sits on a double urban plot of over 1540 square metres. Without a doubt one of the best features of the property is its wonderful outside space, original shaped swimming pool, large pool terrace and outside dining area. An absolutely fantastic location for al fresco dining and entertaining family, friends and visitors on those warm summer evenings.
The property is entered via two large ornamental wrought iron security gates and concrete driveway leading up to a large purpose-built enclosed car port, wide enough for at least two large cars. This area also houses the enclosed diesel tank for the villas central heating system.
The villa itself is reached by terracotta steps leading up from the drive area. On the first terrace level to the left there is independent access to the villas ground floor, or onto the large pool terrace to the right, or straight on up and left into the villa’s main first floor accommodation. The large garden areas consist of independently walled terrace levels. On one of the upper levels just behind the villa there is a nice balustraded private terrace which enjoys even greater views of the surrounding garden and scenery.
The villa’s first floor is currently accessed via the large and naturally well-lit kitchen, which has a wealth of cupboard space, both wall and floor mounted. The worktops are all solid granite with a nice centre island incorporating the resin sink unit and granite worktop. There is also a stainless-steel gas hob, electric oven and large extractor hood. The villas hot water is supplied via both independent gas and electric water heaters, and during winter by a diesel fired boiler which also runs the villas central heating radiator system.
The lounge dining area is separated from the kitchen via two open archways. In the good size lounge, there is a large cast iron log burning stove set within a feature open fireplace. Towards the rear of the lounge there is hallway access to a fully tiled bathroom with walk in shower, and three bedrooms, two with large built in wardrobes.
The far end of the lounge gives access via a stairway to the lower floor. This large lower level area can be completely closed off for privacy from the upper floor if so desired. This room is currently divided into a large lounge with a bed settee, currently separated by curtains if required from a double bedroom area with cupboards, wardrobe, and a completely separate en suite bathroom with corner shower unit. There is also plumbing pre-installation for a kitchenet if so required. This large room also has its own access out onto a really good size lower terracotta terrace, with ample space for entertaining, or just relaxing, enjoying the views and soaking up those Mediterranean sun rays. Here you will also find a lovely feature stone-built BBQ, and the discretely hidden central heating boiler.
There is a lot to see here, so a viewing is highly recommended.
It is also worth noting that this is a fully legal urban property with a great rental potential if so required. The small village of Almiserá and nearby Lloc Nou are both within walking distance, and have a small supermarket, bakers, butchers, chemists, school, sports centre, public swimming pool and great tapas bars. In the nearby village of LLoc Nou de San Jeroni there is the extremely popular bar restaurante "CORRALES" where people come from miles around to be served many first class local delicacies at very reasonable prices.
